BIOHK2021 Update 香港国际生物科技展資訊更新

BIOHK is an international convention organized by Hong Kong Biotechnology Organization to introduce novel state-of-the-art biotech innovations from around the globe and provide an extensive platform to allow pioneers of the biotech industry to convene, with the purpose of promoting Hong Kong as an international innovation hub for biotech.

However, due to the COVID-19 epidemic, BIOHK2021 had to be postponed several times and now has been decided to be postponed to 10-13 March 2021. But we are always well-prepared and ready to be the first international biotech convention after pandemic. In view of the continuing uncertainties amidst the COVID-19 epidemic, the safety of participants is definitely our prioritized concern. For any subsequent changes, we will promptly notify all stakeholders and exhibitors for getting better prepared and arranged.

It’s true that COVID-19 brings us plenty of negative impacts, on another hand, it arouses awareness in biotech and speeds up the biotech development. BIOHK2021 must be the first International Biotech Convention when COVID-19 is over. So please reserve your time to join this significant biotech event in Hong Kong.

BIOHK2021 team hereby expresses our gratitude for all those supporting to BIOHK2021. We will continue to try our best in organizing BIOHK2021, which brings biotech industry an international biotech event, with the purpose of promoting the biotech development.

香港国际生物科技展是由香港生物科技协会所举办的国际会议,引入全球最创新的生物技术,及提供一个让生物科技行业聚集一堂的平台,旨在促进香港成为国际生物科技创新中心。

可是,受到新型冠状病毒疫情影响,香港国际生物科技展已推迟数次,而香港国际生物科技展现已决定延至2021年3月10日至13日举办。但是我们时刻做好充分准备成为疫情之后的首个国际生物科技大会。由于疫情存在变量,参加者安全必然是我们首要的考虑。如果科技展有任何变动,我们亦会适时通知各持份者及参展商,确保各方有充足时间作准备及安排。

确实,COVID-19给我们带来了很多负面影响,但另一方面,它引起了人们对生物科技的关注及加快生物科技的发展。当新冠肺炎结束时,香港国际生物科技展必会是第一个举办的国际生物科技大会,所以请预留时间参加这个于香港举办的生物科技盛会。

香港生物科技協會聯同李氏大藥廠控股有限公司派發口罩予「屯元天」學校及區內有需要者

香港生物科技協會在3月3日香港科學園舉行的新聞發佈會中,聯同李氏大藥廠控股有限公司宣佈贈送口罩予學生及社會有需要人士。

為協助即將應考DSE的莘莘學子,香港生物科技協會聯同李氏大藥廠控股有限公司將贈送共3,000口罩予元朗天主教中學(元朗區)、天主教培聖中學(天水圍區)及屯門裘錦秋中學(屯門區),為「屯元天」學校的應考生打打氣。

目前基層市民依然「一罩難求」,有見及此,香港生物科技協會及李氏大藥廠控股有限公司攜手合作,向區内居民派發6,000個口罩。每位市民可獲10個口罩,合共600個名額,並會以派籌形式進行,額滿即止。冀望透過是次活動能與社會各界團結一致,同心協力共渡難關。

Hong Kong Biotechnology Organization and Lee's Pharmaceutical Holdings Limited distribute surgical masks to students and citizen

As announced by Hong Kong Biotechnology Organization (HKBIO) during our press conference on 3 March 2020, we will partner Lee's Pharmaceutical Holdings Limited to give out surgical masks to students and people in need.

In order to show support for students during their DSE exam preparations, HKBIO and Lee's Pharmaceutical Holdings Limited will give out 3,000 surgical masks to Yuen Long Catholic Secondary School (Yuen Long district), Pui Shing Catholic Secondary School (Tin Shui Wai district) and Ju Ching Chu Secondary School (Tuen Mun district).

It is currently still hard for the underprivileged to find surgical masks. Because of this, HKBIO and Lee's Pharmaceutical Holdings Limited will join together to help residents in those districts by giving out 6,000 surgical masks. Each resident will be able to receive 10 surgical masks (quota limited to 600 people). We hope, through this event, to bring people together to overcome the current hardship.
